MARE VISUALS · PRIVACY
Privacy policy
How Mare Visuals processes your personal information.
Data controller
The controller of personal data submitted through marevisuals.com is Filip Lekawski, a sole trader operating under the Mare Visuals brand (the “Controller”). For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, contact visuals@maregroup.io.
Data we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name or company name, email address and the content of your message. Standard technical server logs may include your IP address, access date/time, the requested URL, browser information and errors. Please do not include special categories of personal data in the contact form.
Purposes and legal bases
We use your information to respond to enquiries, correspond with you, prepare a proposal and take steps before a potential contract: GDPR Article 6(1)(b) where applicable to a prospective individual customer and/or Article 6(1)(f) for our legitimate interest in handling business correspondence, including with company representatives. Technical information is processed for website security and abuse prevention under Article 6(1)(f). If a contract is concluded, certain records may additionally be processed to meet legal and accounting obligations under Article 6(1)(c). This form is not a newsletter subscription and will not be used to send unsolicited marketing.
Recipients of your information
Data may be available to persons authorised by the Controller, our website and email infrastructure provider LH.pl, and IT support providers where applicable. We may disclose information to public authorities when required by law. The form operates on our own hosting; FormSubmit is not used and no third-party form relay processes the submission.
Retention periods
If an enquiry does not lead to a working relationship, we ordinarily keep the correspondence for no longer than 12 months from the last interaction, unless it must be preserved for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. If a contract is concluded, we retain relevant information for the duration required by the contract, applicable law and limitation periods. Short-lived anti-abuse hashes are retained for up to one hour; the hosting provider may keep separate infrastructure logs under its own retention policies.
Cookies and external services
The current website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking or profiling tools, and it does not save your language preference in browser storage. Fonts are served locally. Standard technical server logs may still be generated. If you follow links to external websites, such as Instagram, those providers apply their own privacy practices. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
International data transfers
Contact form data are not sent to FormSubmit or another overseas form relay. We do not intend to transfer contact form data outside the European Economic Area as part of routine processing. If a future service requires a transfer, we will use the protections required by GDPR and update this notice accordingly.
Your data protection rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact visuals@maregroup.io to exercise these rights. You also have the right to complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
Optional data and automated decisions
Providing information is voluntary, but your name or company name, email address and message are required to answer a form enquiry. We do not use solely automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects on people contacting us.
